Liverpool set to lose out in race for Dortmund star after agent hints he will stay in Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund star Emre Mor has been closely linked with a summer exit after struggling for playing time last season.

Liverpool became the first club to express an interest in Mor this summer according to Turkish-Football.

The Mirror reported that Southampton and Deportivo La Coruna also want Mor on a loan move.

Reports from Turkey meanwhile suggest Fenerbahce are favourites to land the winger as far as Super Lig sides are concerned.

Mor’s agent Muzzi Ozcan has already confirmed offers from England, Spain and Turkey.

In fact 14 offers in total have been made for his client.

“There have been offers from England, Spain and Turkey,” Ozcan said.

“In today Fourteen offers have been made for Emre Mor but Borussia Dortmund have yet to respond to any of the bids.

“It is not clear yet what will happen, he could even leave on loan or stay at Dortmund. 

The agent has however, revealed what Mor is now hopeful that to stay on at Dortmund after an impressive showing over the pre-season China tour.

“Emre’s priority is to stay here, we will have to see what happens nothing has been decided yet,” Ozcan said.

Mor scored twice against Urawa Red Diamonds and has managed to impress head coach Peter Bosz.

“Emre has a lot of qualities,” Bosz was quoted as saying on the official Bundesliga website after Mor’s match-winning effort from the bench against Urawa.

“He showed that again, especially with his two goals, but he has a lot to learn. He needs to learn when he should take players on and when he should pass the ball – but he’s young and will learn. It’s my job to help him.”
