Liverpool & Southampton target Simon Kjaer set to become the highest paid Danish player

Simon Kjaer will become the highest paid Danish player if he joins Fenerbahce on a four-year-deal.

The former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner currently earns €3.62 million per season at Wolfburg.

Kjaer has been offered a four-year deal with Fenerbahce at €4 million per season. The 26-year-old will also receive appearance bonuses according to Eurosport TR. The Denmark international earns €2.95 million per season at Lille.

Due to Turkey’s favourable tax rules, Kjaer will earn close to double his current wage if he makes the switch to Fenerbahce.
