Liverpool star Emre Can continues to face an uncertain future at Anfield.

The midfielder has under 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign an extension.

With Juventus hovering around and several other clubs lining up to try enter direct talks in January Liverpool face a tough task trying to keep Can on their books.

Germany national team legend Oliver Bierhoff does not give Liverpool much of a chance in terms of keeping Can at the club.

Bierhoff believes that despite the Premier League being the top spot for players Can is 60-80 percent likely to make the move to Juventus.

Oliver Bierhoff told Tuttosport: “In this time England is the top spot for those players and after the Premier there is also the Spanish league as an option. For sure both Emre Can and Goretzka could be successful in Serie A.

“However, unless Inter Milan returns to the top of Italy, if one of these players had to choose Italy, he would only do it for Juventus.

For Goretzka there is not much of a chance, perhaps not even 20%. Emre Can, I think he has a lot more, I would say 60-80%.”

Juventus would have to pay Liverpool a fee if they want him in January but could snap him up on a free contract if he does not renew his contract.

Despite having just months left on his contract head coach Jurgen Klopp has kept faith in Can and gave him a starting role in the 3-0 win over Southampton in the Premier League on Wednesday.
