Liverpool star left out of the Germany national team

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has lost his place in Germany’s national team side.

Germany boss Joachim Low has decided to leave Can out of his squad which will host Czech Republic and Northern Ireland on October 8 and 11 respectively.

Can has struggled with injuries this season and has also lost his place in Liverpool’s starting lineup lately. The 22-year-old had a short pre-season then injured his ankle during Liverpool’s win over Burton in the League Cup.

The combative midfielder was part of Low’s Euro 2016 squad and did start for Germany in the Semi Final against France.

”These two home matches are very important for us,’‘ said Low on the German national team’s official website.

”We started well in Norway and we want to win the next matches and maintain the lead in our group.”

Liverpool take on Swansea City this weekend in the Premier League where they will look to continue their impressive run of form, Jurgen Klopp’s side have won their last three Premier League games and find themselves in forth place.

Meanwhile, Swansea have lost their last three games and are without a win in three.
