Emre Can scored the equalising goal for Germany U21 in their European Championships clash against Serbia with a well placed shot from outside the area.

Germany were behind after just eight minutes when Djuricic found the back of the net but Can levelled the score nine minutes later.

The 21-year-old has a licence to roam from midfield and has given Liverpool fans a taster of what to expect next season.

The 21-year-old joined from Bayer Leverkusen as a central midfielder but soon found himself as a makeshift defender.

Can adapted well to playing as a centre-back in Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers back three but had a few problems at right-back.

The 21-year-old made a total of 27 appearances for the Premier League outfit this season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.

Germany U21 take on Denmark u21 in their next encounter in the u21 European Championships.
