Liverpool star Emre Can set to face second Bundesliga opposition since leaving Germany

Liverpool drew Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-finals today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon.

The matchup will see Reds boss Jurgen Klopp take on his former side Borrusia Dortmund in what looks to be one of the most exciting fixtures in the last eight.

Liverpool star Emre Can will take on Bundesliga opposition for the second time since joining the club and will know Dortmund well from his time in Germany playing for Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

The Reds booked a place in the quarter-finals after becoming the first English side to knock Manchester United out of European competition.

Dortmund meanwhile made light work of Tottenham beating the north London based side 5-1 on aggregate following a 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane yesterday.

The Bundesliga giants have several players that starred under the stewardship of Klopp and a few expressed their excitement at the prospect of playing against their former boss on Twitter.
