Liverpool star makes surprise football school visit

Liverpool team news

Emre Can made a surprise visit to the LFC International Academy Soccer School today.

Liverpool’s official website stated that Can spent the afternoon at the Kirkby complex making his way around the groups and offering advice and expertise on how the aspiring footballers could learn to play ‘the Liverpool way’.

Can is expected to keep his place in the Red’s starting line-up which takes on FC Augsburg tomorrow.

Liverpool drew the first leg with Augsburg 0-0 at the WWK Arena. The Germany international of Turkish origin made the highest number of passes in midfield (63) at an 89 percent accuracy.

Augsburg was founded over 100 years ago but did not play in the Bundesliga until 2011. This is the Bundesliga sides first season in European competition.

Can has provided one assist and scored two goals in 33 appearances for Liverpool this season.

Liverpool take on Manchester City in the Premier League next weekend.
