Liverpool star 'ready to go' ahead of Euro 2016

Emre Can has stated that he is ready for this summers Euro 2016 competition.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man has been included in Joaquin Low’s 23-man squad which will compete at the Euro’s. Germany take on the Ukraine in their first game of the tournament.

Can uploaded a picture of himself to his official Instagram page along with the caption, “Ready to go!”

The 22-year-old has played as a central-midfielder under the stewardship of Reds boss Jurgen Klopp but Germany manager Joaquim Low continues to play him as a defender – as did former Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers.

Can is one of two Germany international players of Turkish origin in the squad with the other being Mesut Ozil.

The Germany international had an impressive campaign with Liverpool this season having provided three assists and two goals in 49 appearances for the reds this season.
