The Serie A outfit see Can as sharing similarities with Khedira but Liverpool are not keen to part ways with their star man.

The transfer could depend on whether a new deal is actually signed. After all the Reds could end up losing Can for free if they do not resolve Can’s contract situation.

The Reds have yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal but talks are underway.

The Daily Mail only recently revealed that a verbal agreement had been reached between Can and Liverpool.

The midfielder of Turkish origin lifted the Confederations Cup with Germany this summer and was given an extended break afterwards.

Can is currently on holiday in Turkey with friends and is expected to return to Liverpool for pre-season training afterwards.
