Liverpool striker keen on Trabzonspor move

Liverpool striker Samed Yesil is keen on a move to Trabzonspor according the Turkish sports paper Fotomac.

The report stated that the 21-year-old is open to a move to the Black Sea Storm as they look to build a strong squad for their 50th anniversary.

“I have received offers from Trabzonspor for the past four years but somehow the transfer never went through,” Yesil was quoted as saying by Fotomac.

“I am interested in joining Trabzonspor on their 50th anniversary.”

Yesil’s family originate from Trabzon and the Liverpool youngster is a Trabzonspor fan.

Yeşil is currently on loan at the Swiss Super League side FC Luzern who are managed by the former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel.

The young striker provided two assists and scored one goal in eight league appearances this season.

Yeşil joined Liverpool from the German side Bayern Leverkusen back in 2012 for £1 million. The 21-year-old has made two assists and found the back of the net just once in eight appearances for Luzurn this season.
