Liverpool striker completes Switzerland move

Liverpool striker Samed Yeşil has completed his loan transfer for Switzerland side FC Luzern on a one-year loan the Premier League giants revealed today.

The Reds confirmed the transfer to the Swiss top-tier side on their official website.

Yeşil joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 but has struggled for playing time due to a injuries. The young striker only recently recovered from a double cruciate ligament injury.

The 21-year-old forward has only made two appearances for the senior Liverpool team since arriving in England.

Yeşil has represented Germany at U21 international level but could still play for the senior Turkish national team.

The Liverpool forward was born in Germany but is of Turkish descent. Yeşil was closely linked with a move to Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe over the transfer window after spending much of the summer in Turkey.
