Liverpool crushed Burton 5-0 in the League Cup today but the victory was marred by injury to star midfielder Emre Can.
Reds head coach Jurgen Klopp revealed after the game that he hoped the injury does not end up being too serious.
Can appeared to have sustained an ankle injury which is a worry considering he struggled with the the same problem last season.
Klopp on Emre Can injury/substitution: 'It is the ankle he had problems with last season: we all hope that it is not too serious."

The Germany intentional of Turkish origin missed the Burnley clash last weekend with a minor back injury and had yet to reach 100 percent match fitness.
Klopp could be without his star midfielder for the trip to White Hart Lane to take on Tottenham on the weekend as a result.
Liverpool will have to wait for results on Can’s ankle before finding out the severity of the injury.
The Reds are already in the midst of an injury crisis and would be in trouble going into the Tottenham game with Can sidelined as well.
