Liverpool target has not agreed deal with Inter

Fenerbahce left-back Caner Erkin has not agreed terms with Italian giants Inter Milan his agent Batur Altiparmak confirmed.

Altiparmak denied rumours in the media that a deal had been signed with Inter via his Twitter account.

The experienced full-back was reported to have agreed a £4.2 million deal with Inter according to the Express [via Corriere dello Sport].

Erkin currently has just six-months remaining on his contract meaning he could end up being signed on a free transfer unless he extends his current deal.

The Turkish international has also been closely linked with Liverpool after the Reds sent scouts to keep tabs on him at the Istanbul derby.

Erkin rejected offers from Chelsea and Liverpool to agree a new deal with Fenerbahce back in 2014 according to the Mirror.

The 26-year-old full back has one goal and eight assists in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.

Erkin has a wealth of experience playing for both Fenerbahce and their arch rivals Galatasaray as well as European experience at CSKA Moscow.
