Ilkay Gündoğan featured in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-1 victory over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga over the weekend.

The Germany international played 84 minutes before being taken off in place of
Lukasz Piszczek.

Gündoğan received a rating of 6.87 from WhoScored. The deep-lying playmaker made three key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 86%. Gündoğan also made one interception and one successful tackle.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool ever since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp earlier this month.

Gündoğan recently played down reports linking him with a move away from Borussia Dortmund but opted not to rule them out completely.

“About my future? I currently have no idea. This is very, very far away,” Gündoğan told Sport1.

Gündoğan has started the season well in the Bundesliga under Dortmund’s new manager Thomas Tuchel. Dortmund sit in second place in the Bundesliga with 23 points in ten games.
