Liverpool team news: Jurgen Klopp missing key names ahead of Watford clash 

Watford FC host Liverpool at Vicarage road for their first game of the 2017-18 Premier League season. The clash takes place on Saturday and kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 (GMT).

The Hornets appointed Marco Silva as their manager over the summer. Watford have also signed Richarlison, Andre Gray, Tom Cleverley, Nathaniel Chalobah, Kiko Femenia, Will Hughes and Daniel Bachmann.

Liverpool have signed Mo Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andrew Robertson. Emre Can’s future at the club remains in doubt, the Germany international has under 12 months remaining on his contract.

Liverpool Team News:

Adam Lallana has been ruled out for this weekend’s clash due to a long-term thigh injury. Former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is also sidelined for the trip to Watford.

Nathaniel Clyne is an injury doubt doing into the game. Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho is also unlikely to star after suffering a back injury during training. The Brazil international is also the subject of a bid from Barcelona.

Watford team news:

Brazilian forward Richarlison has been declared fit and may be handed his Watford debut on Saturday.

Troy Deeney is a doubt ahead of Watford’s clash with Liverpool. The club captain has returned to training but is lacking match fitness. Argentina forward Mauro Zarate is ruled out with a serious knee injury.
