Liverpool team news: Klopp faces quadruple injury worry ahead of Crystal Palace clash 

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp navigated through Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Hoffenheim without adding any more players to his mounting list of injuries.

Klopp’s side host Crystal Palace at Anfield on Saturday afternoon as they look for their first win of the 2017-18 Premier League season.

Currently four first team players are sidelined with injuries. Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge, Clyne and Coutinho.

Lallana and Sturridge will miss Saturday’s clash with Crystal Palace however, Clyne and Coutinho could still return in time.

Coutinho’s future at Liverpool is looking increasingly uncertain. The Brazil international handed in a transfer request this week and has been closely linked with a move to Barcelona.

Midfielder of Turkish origin Emre Can has been ever-present in Klopp’s starting line-up despite failing to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

Liverpool have one step in the UEFA Champions League group stage following their 2-1 win over Hoffenheim away from home. The return leg will be played on Wednesday, August 23.
