Klopp will be unable to call upon star forward Sadio Mane after he picked up a red-card during Liverpool’s 5-0 defeat to Man City. The Senegal international received a three-game suspension.

The German tactician may opt to field Philippe Coutinho in Mane’s place. The Brazil international made his first appearance of the season against Sevilla.

Emre Can is expected to keep his place in Liverpool’s three-man midfield alongside Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum.

Liverpool will be without both Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne who are sidelined with injuries.
