Liverpool team news: Klopp missing key names, set to rotate ahead of Maribor clash

Liverpool are back in action on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League, just four days after their 0-0 draw with Manchester United.

The clash takes place at the Ljudski vrt, stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

Jurgen Klopp’s side are yet to register a victory in the Champions League this season. The Reds, who sit second in Group E with two points, were held to a draw by both Sevilla and Spartak Moscow.

Maribor meanwhile sit at the bottom of the group with a point.

Liverpool Team News:

The German tactician is expected to make rotate his starting lineup this week. Liverpool have a tricky run of fixtures coming up with Maribor on Tuesday and a trip to Wembley Stadium on Sunday to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Summer singing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and star striker Daniel Sturridge could return to start starting eleven tomorrow.

Klopp will be unable to call upon Sadio Mane who is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Adam Lallana and Clyne will also miss out on Tuesday night’s clash.

According to Paul Gorst at the Liverpool Echo, Lallana will return to action at the end of the month.

Star midfielder Emre Can is fit to start on Tuesday after playing the full 90 minutes against Man United.
