Liverpool transfer list striker, Turkish giants on alert

Mario Balotelli

Liverpool have transfer listed told Mario Balotelli after head coach Jurgen Klopp told the Italian international to find a new club.

Klopp stated that Balotelli has no future at the club but wished the striker all the best and revealed that he should have no problem finding a new team.

“I have spoken to him about this,” Klopp was quoted as saying by the Guardian.

“He’s not at the stage of his career where he should be battling with four or five other players for one or two positions … so it’s clear we need a solution. There will be a club around who would be happy to have the new Mario Balotelli. I have spoken clearly to the player about that.”

Balotelli has been closely linked with Istanbul giants Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce in the past.

The Guardian recently reported Besiktas as being interested in the Italian international.

The Black Eagles are considering their options in the striker department as they are yet to renew terms with Mario Gomez.

The Germany international scored 28 goals last season but was on-loan from Fiorentina and has yet to make a decision on his future.

Gomez remains the Eagles first-choice striker transfer target but they have a number of other options in case talks stall.

Fotospor meanwhile have reported that Fenerbahce are considering making a move for the 25-year-old striker.
