Liverpool transfer news: £138m star move to Barcelona unlikely in January – Emre Can also set for stay

Liverpool look set to keep hold of two of their star players over the January transfer window.

Both Emre Can and Philipe Coutinho were linked with moves away from the Merseyside based club over the summer window. According to the Sun, Liverpool turned down a £138 million offer from Barce for Coutinho.

Meanwhile, the Reds also rejected a £23 million offer from Juventus for Can on deadline day.

According to Goal, Barce are unlikely to sign Coutinho in January. Per the source, Liverpool have no intention of letting any of their star names leave over the winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato have revealed that Juventus are prepared to wait until next summer to sign Emre Can rather than splash out for him in January.
