Liverpool transfer news: Euro giants table third bid for £10m star forward Divock Origi

Turkish giants Fenerbahce have not given up hope of signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

According to the Turkish outlet Fotospor, Fenerbahce are keen to bolster their attacking options this summer.

Per the source, Fener have tabled a third loan bid for Origi and are awaiting a response from Liverpool.

However, during a recent interview, Origi appears to be happy at the Merseyside club.

“I’ve made steps and it’s [up to] me to keep progressing,” Origi told LiverpoolFC.com.

“I feel really good so I go into the season with a lot of excitement.

“I’m going to take it game by game, training session by training session, just trying to express myself and enjoy myself. When I enjoy the game, I always play good.

“I set personal targets, high targets—it’s always good to be very ambitious and tough on yourself, and I think that will push me to do well.”

Fenerbahce are keen to strengthen their squad this summer following a disappointing league campaign. The Yellow Canaries finished the season in third place and will miss out on UEFA Champions league football.

Origi made 43 apperances for Liverpool last season but managed to score just 11 goals.

The Reds are understood to be on the lookout for a new striker this summer – a move which could cast Origi’s future in doubt.

The Belgium international made the move to Liverpool from Ligue 1 side Lille for £10 million (BBC) back in 2014.
