Liverpool transfer news: Keita January arrival could see star midfielder leave for Euro giants

Germany international midfielder Emre Can could be on his way out of Liverpool in January.

The 23-year-old is yet to pen a new deal with the Reds and has under nine months remaining on his contract.

Liverpool do however have a replacement already on the way if Can does opt to leave.

Naby Keita has agreed to join Liverpool next summer however, Italian outlet Tuttosport claim Jurgen Klopp may look to bring him in early.

Per the source, Juventus will make a move for Can in January if Liverpool manage to sign Keita early.

The Merseyside based club signed Emre Can from Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen back in 2014 for £9.75 million. The Germany international has gone on to make 132 appearances for Liverpool.

Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle over the weekend. Klopp’s side take on Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture on October 14.

Can has been included in Joachim Low’s Germany national team squad.
