Liverpool vs Crystal Palace – Confirmed lineups

Liverpool host Crystal Palace in their first Premier League game of the season at Anfield.

The Reds were held to a disappointing 3-3 draw by Watford FC last weekend. Liverpool were 3-2 ahead going into injury time but conceded a last minute goal.

Jurgen Klopp’s side did however record a 2-1 win over Hoffenheim in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Palace meanwhile suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at home against the newly promoted Huddersfield. The Eagles will be hoping to bounce back this weekend.

Crystal Palace are without their star winger Wilfried Zaha after he suffered a knee injury last weekend.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are without their star playmaker Philippe Coutinho. The Brazil international handed in his transfer request last weekend and has been struggling with a back injury.

Adam Lallana also misses today’s encounter with Palace. The England international is expected to miss a significant portion of the season due to an injury suffered during pre-season training.
