Liverpool v Crystal Palace: Probable starting line-up's – Emre Can to play in Steven Gerrard send off

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can

Liverpool v Crystal Palace:

Liverpool host Crystal Palace tonight in the 37th week of the Premier League as they prepare to give Steven Gerrard his Anfield send-off.

Gerrard is set to lead his team-mates out of the Anfield tunnel for one final occasion against the Palace. The 34-year-old captain ends his 17 year star at Liverpool this Summer when he will join the MLS side LA Galaxy.

Emre Can – who could replace Gerrard in midfield next season – is expected to start todays game at right back alongside Skrtel, Lovren and Johnson in defence.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man has made 38 appearances this season, the majority of which have come in defence despite being signed as a midfielder at the start of the season.
