Liverpool v Manchester City – Probable line-ups – Emre Can set to start

Emre Can is expected to be included in the Liverpool starting line-up which takes on Manchester City in the League cup final.

The 22-year-old is expected to be deployed in midfield alongside James Milner and Jordan Henderson.

The Red’s are also set to call upon Daniel Sturridge who has missed the majority of the season due to injury.

Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over FC Augsburg in the Europa League earlier this week. The Germany international has provided one assist and scored two goals in 34 appearances for Liverpool this season.

If Liverpool win on Sunday it will be their first piece of silverware since they won the League cup back in 2012.
