Liverpool v Manchester Utd – Probable line-ups – Emre Can set to start

Liverpool take on their bitter rivals Manchester United for the first time in European competition tonight in the Europa League.

Emre Can is expected to be included in Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up and is set to be deployed in midfield alongside club captain Jordan Henderson.

Liverpool are expected to line-up in a 4-4-1-1 formation with Can playing in central midfield.

Manchester United have won three European Cups while Liverpool have lifted the trophy on five occasions.

Klopp should be able to call upon his star striker Daniel Sturridge who likely and right-back Nathaniel Clyne is expected to regain his place in the startling eleven.

Manchester United will be without their captain Wayne Rooney.
