Liverpool v QPR – Probable starting line-up's – Emre Can to start at right-back again

Emre Can is predicted to start at right back for the second time in a row when Liverpool take on QPR today in the 35th round of the Premier League.

The Red’s boss Brendan Rodgers came under fire for playing Can at right back last week with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher tweeting, “Only watching the highlights but Emre Can looks like the first right back I’ve ever seen with a free role!!”

Can’s strongest position has been shrouded in ambiguity this season. The 21-year-old joined  the Reds as a central midfielder but played most of the season in a defensive back-three and is now playing as a right-back in four man defence.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man believes his strongest position is in midfield but he may have to wait until next season to prove himself in the centre of the pitch.
