Liverpool v Sevilla probable lineups: Klopp to start star playmaker on the bench

Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways when they kick-off their UEFA Champions League campaign against Sevilla on Wednesday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered a disappointing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Saturday.

The Reds will be able to call upon Sadio Mane who picked up a red card against the Citizens last weekend. However, Adam Lallana has been ruled out with a thigh injury.

Klopp will need to make a decision regarding Philippe Coutinho. The Brazil international hasn’t featured for the Reds this season following a drawn out transfer saga with Barcelona.

The talented playmaker ended up staying at Liverpool despite intentions of leaving the club. According to the Express, Coutinho will start the game on then bench.

Sevilla meanwhile come into the game with a clean bill of health. The La Liga giants also recorded 3-0 victory over Eibar over the weekend.
