Liverpool youngster Samed Yesil spends 'one night in Istanbul'

Samed Yeşil has taken to Instagram to post an update on his holiday in Turkey.

The 21-year-old has traveled west from the Black Sea region to Istanbul. The picture has sparked rumours linking the Liverpool youngster with a move to Fenerbahce.

Yeşil posted the following picture along with the caption, “This time we prefer the Underground #istanbul #train #sultanahmet.”

The image will no doubt remind Liverpool fans of the film One Night in Istanbul, revolves around the Reds memorable 2005 Champions League final victory in Istanbul.

Emre Can wants to play in Liverpool midfield next season

Fenerbahçe are reported to be in talks with Yeşil according to Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik.

Yeşil struggled for playing time this season due to a double cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out until the turn of the year.

The 21-year-old has since recovered and has three goals for the U21 side since his return.

The Liverpool youngster would play as a domestic player in Turkey despite being born in Germany. Like his teammate Emre Can, Yeşil is also of Turkish origin.
