Liverpool’s Emre Can gave his jacket to the mascot in the rain

Emre Can gave his coat to the young mascot who was shivering in the rain before Germany’s Under-21 game against England.

The former Bayer Leverkusen player was spotted giving his coat to the young mascot before Germany’s Under-21 game against England at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium. England U21 ended up beating Germany U21 3-2 in the international friendly.

Can started in central midfield for Germany just ahead of the centre-backs alongside captain Moritz Leitner.The 21-year-old is expected to start for Liverpool against Arsenal following the international break.

Germany U21 and England U21 will play in the European Under-21 Championship in the Czech Republic, for which both sides have qualified.
