“Lukaku would have a field day” – Man United fans react to transfer link with £42m Arsenal superstar
The transfer window may have slammed shut a fortnight ago but clubs are still looking towards next summer to strengthen their squads.
Premier League leaders Manchester United have been linked with a move for Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil. The German outlet Bild have claimed that United boss Jose Mourinho is keeping close tabs on the 28-year-old.
Following the latest reports, we took to social media to see how Manchester United fans reacted to reports linking Ozil to United.
Red Devil’s fans responses appear to be mixed with the majority leaning towards welcoming the Germany international to their club.
Not gonna lie I would love ozil at United. Have him infront of pogba while mkhi goes on the right. Constant service to lukaku

Ozil's not the greatest footballer around. But, I think for free, he might be a steal. And he played his best football under Mourinho.

If Meshit Ozil does sign for #mufc I'll fly down to Old Trafford to stab José. #mufc

Send Mkhi to the wings instead of buying a RW, place Ozil next to Pogba, have Matic or Dendoncker or Weigl or Fabinho sit back

Ozil enjoyed a successful spell at Real Madrid while playing under Mourinho.

The World Cup winner’s Arsenal future is currently cast in doubt. Ozil has under 10-months remaining on his contract with the Gunners while Arsene Wenger has admitted that talks have slowed down.
If Arsenal are unable to strike a deal with Ozil, he will be able to walk out of the club for free next summer.
Man United take on Everton this weekend as they look to maintain their winning run.
