Besiktas recorded their third successive win in a row after beating Malatyaspor 2-1 on the road in the Super Lig.

Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started in goal for the visitors putting on another impressive display in goal.

Karius has conceded just four goals in 2019 keeping two clean sheets in the process.

The German keeper shared a photograph of himself being mobbed by his teammates in his post match tweet alongside the following message.

Malatyaspor were reduced to 10 men after Adam Buyuk was sent off on 41 minutes.

Black Eagles veteran Atiba Hutchinson made the most of their man advantage after putting his side ahead with his second goal in three games since turning 36 years of age.

Omer Sismanoglu equalised on 65 minutes but Adem Ljajic had the last laugh scoring the winning goal to keep the Black-Whites in the title race.

Ljajic did however, end up picking up a yellow card for an overly enthusiastic goal celebration involving the corner flag and will miss the derby clash against Fenerbahce next week as a result.
