The Black Eagles beat Liveprool 5-4 on penalties in the second-leg to progress to the Last 16.

Malli is free to speak directly with other clubs as he will be out of contract at the end of the Bundesliga campaign.

Mainz have been in talks to renew the 23-year-old’s contract but have yet to reach an agreement.

Fenerbahçe have been closely linked with Malli and are reported to be plotting an end of season move.

However, Beşiktaş are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the in form midfielder.

The Black Eagles have been targeting promising young players of Turkish origin in Europe.

Gökhan Töre, Oğuzhan Özyakup, Tolgay Arslan, Veli Kavlak, Cenk Tosun, Kerim Frei and Olcay Şahan were born in Western European countries but are also of Turkish origin.
