City will take another step towards ensuring a top-four spot and booking Champions League football with a victory over the Foxes.

The Citizens could have two players back from injury going into the clash.

Sergio Aguero and John Stones have both returned the training and both players were shown training on the official club website on Thursday.

City boss Pep Guardiola will however, be without goalkeeper Claudio Bravo (calf) and Germany international of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan (knee) who are both out for the season.

Guardiola did experiment briefly with a 3-5-2 in the 3-0 win over Middeslebrough but reverted to a 4-3-3 setup at the half-time break.

The Spanish manager is expected to stick with his traditional 4-3-3 formation.

Leicester have won their last two games but will be without with captain Wes Morgan, Danny Drinkwater, Nampalys Mendy and Robert Huth.

The Foxes did beat City at the Etihad last season and have already beat the Manchester giants 4-2 at the King Power this campaign.

Leicester have beat City in their last three games but the last time they did the triple over them was 50 years ago.
