Per the source, Denayer has given the green light on a return to Galatasaray. The 21-year-old established himself as a fan favourite during his 12 month spell in Istanbul.

Galatasaray manager Igor Tudor is expected to make major changes to the squad over the summer. The Lions are a full 11 points behind leaders Besiktas in the Turkish Super League.

Furthermore, defender Aurélien Chedjou’s contract expires at the end of the season and is expected to leave.

Man City secured their place in the UEFA Champions League on Sunday following a 5-0 win over Watford FC.
