Man City expected to drop £30m Arsenal striker target, Turkish champions enter talks

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is expected to leave Wilfried Bony out of his match day squad for the second week running when the Citizens take on Stoke City on Saturday 20 August.

Bony has however, been included in the provisional squad despite being instructed to find a new club according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Ivory Coast international has been closely linked with a move to Besiktas after club president Fikret Orman travelled to England to hold talks over a loan deal a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

The Black Eagles could however, face competition from Arsenal who are being linked with a £30 million move for the powerful striker according to the Daily Star.

Fellow Besiktas target Samir Nasri is also in the provisional squad but is also expected to be dropped from the match day squad.
