Man City star ranks higher than Tottenham’s Dele Alli in FIFA 2018 despite not playing a single game in 2017

Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan has not played a single game in 2017 due to suffering a knee injury in 2016.

Despite playing just 10 games last season the numbers men at EA SPORTS still feel he deserves a higher ranking than Tottenham attacking midfielder Dele Alli.

The England international scored 22 goals and provided 13 assists in 50 games last campaign but was still rated lower than Gundogan.

Despite falling short of Gundogan, Alli did see his rating increase from 80 to 84 since last year’s figures were revealed.

Gundogan received an 85 rating while Alli scored 84.

The midfielder of Turkish origin has made a full recovery and was included in the match-day squads against Liverpool and Feyenoord – despite not receiving any playing time.

The Germany international is expected to return to first-team football over the next few weeks.

City take on Watford next over the weekend at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.
