Man City team news: Euro giants ‘determined’ to sign Belgium international Jason Denayer this summer

Manchester City defender Jason Denayer could be on his way out of the Etihad this week.

The 22-year-old has been closely linked with a move to Galatasaray over the past month however, the Istanbul based club have so far failed to get the transfer over the line.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray are ‘determined‘ to sign Denayer and are willing to do everything they can before the transfer window slams shut this week.

Denayer is keen on a move to the Turkish Super League giants. The Belgium international has already rejected a chance to join La Liga side Girona on loan.

The defender is no stranger to Istanbul. Denayer spent the 2015-16 season at Galatasaray where he established himself as a fan favourite.

Denayer has three years left on his contract with Man City. The Belgium international made 24 Premier League appearances for Sunderland last term.
