Man City team news: Guardiola missing key names ahead of Everton clash

Man City team news: Guardiola missing key names ahead of Everton clash

Manchester City will be looking to continue their 100% start to the Premier League season when they take on Everton next week.

The Citizens host Everton on Monday night, kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).

Guardiola is known for rotated his players on a regular basis and has recently promised to shuffle his pack this season.

His side recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend following goals from Kun Aguero and Dunk (own goal).

Germany international of Turkish decent Ilkay Gundogan played his first game for City on Tuesday, since he suffered a knee injury back in December.

The midfielder playmaker is however unlikely to start against Everton. Benjamin Mendy is also expected to miss Monday’s clash despite returning to first-team training.

The Toffee’s meanwhile kicked-off their season with a 1-0 win over Stoke City. Ronald Koeman’s side will be in a confident mood coming into the game following their 2-0 win over Hajduk Split on Thursday.
