City boss Pep Guardiola knows Barcelona well from his time coaching and playing for the club – not that it helped him much in the first game – and the Premier League leaders have gone 12 games without a defeat at home.

The Citizens go into the game without goalkeeper Claudio Bravo who is out suspended after being sent off in the last Champions League game against Barca.

In other Man City team news Guardiola will also be without Delph and Sagna who is out with a hamstring injury.

Star striker Sergio Aguero is however, match fit after coming off the bench the last time these two sides player. The Argentinian forward is in red hot form having scored a brace in the 4-0 win over West Brom over the weekend.

Germany international of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan is also in form having also scored a brace against the Baggies and he is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up against Barca tonight.
