Man City transfer news: Turkish giants strike €3.5m deal with Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony

Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is nearing an exit from the Etihad this summer.

The 28-year-old has failed to secure a place in City’s squad since the appointment of Pep Guardiola as manager.

Turkish outlet Fotomac claims that Fenerbahce have struck a deal with Man City to loan Bony. The Turkish giants will pay €1.5 million should the loan deal go though.

The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce have also agreed a €3.5m deal with Bony for his 12 month spell in Istanbul.

The Yellow Canaries are looking to improve their attacking option’s following a disappointing season which saw them finish third in the Turkish Super League.

However, it is worth noting that multiple Manchester City players have been linked with moves to the Turkish Super League this summer.

Bony spent last season on loan with Stoke City. The Ivory Coast international managed to score just two Premier League goals in ten appearances for the Potters.
