Man City v Shakhtar Donetsk – Probable lineups – Guardiola set to make changes

Manchester City will be looking to maintain their winning run of form when they take on Shakhtar Donetsk in their second match of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The Citizens smashed Crystal Palace by a 5-0 scoreline over the weekend leaving them second in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s side have netted 22 goals in their last five games while conceding just once.

Germany international Ilkay Gundogan is a major doubt going into tomorrows clash. The 26-year-old made his return following a ten month injury layoff last week against West Brom. However, the 26-year-old suffered another knee injury mid-way thought the second half.

Man City can secure their place at the top of Group F with a win tomorrow. City recorded a 4-0 win over Feyenoord in the opening Group F game.
