Man United given transfer boost after Brazilian target rejects £21m offer from China

Besiktas star Anderson Talisca has rejected a £21 million offer from China a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.

Talisca’s release fee was activated by an unnamed club but the Brazilian ace is determined to stay in Europe.

The in-form attacking midfielder has also attracted interest from Europe.

The Hurriyet reported that Monaco are keen on the 23-year-old but they could face competition from Manchester United.

Radyospor host Leven Umut Erol recently shared a video stating that he received information that United are considering a summer move.

Erol said: “Manchester United have made an offer to Benfica for Anderson Talisca that will trigger his release clause, it looks like he will be saying goodbye to Besiktas.”

Talisca is currently on a two-year loan from Portuguese giants Benfica.

Besiktas do have the option to extend his temporary stay by another season but what has complicated matters is that the attacking midfielder has a £21 million buyout clause.

Talisca has attracted Premier League interest but he may struggle to get a work permit.

The in-form midfielder has not played a senior international game for Brazil and unless a special exemption was made by the Home Office, under the current rulings he would not be able to play in England.

Talisca has been in great form this season scoring 14 goals and providing six assists in all competitions this season.

Besiktas are desperate to keep hold of their star man at the end of the season but would not be able to activate his release fee due to financial constraints.
