Man United make ‘no progress’ in talks over £22m Brazilian target Anderson Talisca
Manchester United have been closely linked with Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca over recent months.
The Benfica star hinted that United were in talks with him over a summer move.
“I cannot deny there is interest but what happens next depends on Benfica and my representatives,” Talisca was quoted as saying by Globoesporte when asked about United interest.
“There will be news on this soon.
Brazilian outlet Globoesporte report that ‘no progress’ has been made as far as negotiations with United are concerned.

Talisca reiterated his desire to work under the stewardship of United boss Jose Mourinho yesterday.
“I have a lot of respect for Jose Mourinho, he is an amazing manager and I have always said I would love to work with Mourinho,” Talisca was quoted as saying by Futbolarena.
“I do not want to get into this debate about an offer being made or not, let’s just say if I were to receive that kind of offer you would all know about it.”
It does however, appear that the 23-year-old will spend next season on another loan spell at Besiktas.
The Benfica man shared an photograph on Instagram celebrating scoring a goal for Besiktas alongside a caption which translated from Portuguese read: “Move out of the way, I am coming.”
Talisca played a key role in Besiktas winning the league title for a second consecutive season over the 2016-17 campaign.
The powerful midfielder scored 17 times and provided six assists in all competitions.
Besiktas have been desperate to keep hold of Talisca this summer.
The Brazilian ace does have a £22 million release clause but the Black Eagles signed a two-year loan deal with Benfica over Talisca last summer.
The Istanbul giants recently completed the transfer of Real Madrid legend Pepe. Besiktas plan to keep hold of Talisca, sign another striker and a back-up forward before the start of pre-season.
