Man United news: Dortmund join race for £8m wonder-kid target

Borussia Dortmund have joined the race for Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici according to Haberturk.

The report claims that Dortmund have been keeping close tabs on the Turkish under-21 international.

Dortmund signed fellow Turkish wonder-kid Emre Mor on a five-year deal last summer.

The German giants have a long traditional of signing players of Turkish origin. Nuri Sahin also currently plays for the Bundesliga outfit and Manchester City attacking midfielder Ilkay Gundogan made a name for himself at the club.

The report also claims that Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Yazici.

Turkish-Football have reported that United have been scouting Yazici for much of 2017 and that Trabzonspor want £8 [€10] million for the rising star.

Yazici has been in brilliant form since breaking into the first team at the start of the year.

The rising star has directly been involved in 14 goals in 15 starts – five goals and nine assists.

Trabzonspor have lost just one game in which Yazici has started this season.
