Man United suffer transfer blow as 16 goal Brazilian midfield target reveals future plan

Manchester United have suffered a blow in their hopes of signing Anderson Talisca this summer.

Turkish-Football recently revealed that the Red Devils are closely monitoring Talisca and that a summer bid could be on the cards.

Meanwhile, Radyospor host Leven Umut Erol also stated that United are considering a summer move.

Erol said: “Manchester United have made an offer to Benfica for Anderson Talisca that will trigger his release clause, it looks like he will be saying goodbye to Besiktas.”

However, according to Ajanspor, Talisca is keen to remain at Besiktas next season.

Per the source, Talisca’s agent has held talks with Besiktas President Fikret Orman. The Brazilian midfielder has revealed that he will remain at the Black Eagles if they can strike a deal with his parent club Benfica.

Besiktas do have the option to extend Talisca’s loan deal by another season in their deal with Benfica. However, the option only stands if Taslica’s €25 million release clause is not activated.

The 23-year-old has been in terrific form for Besiktas this season. Talisca has racked up 15 goals from midfield and has provided six assists.

Besiktas take on Gaziantepspor this week as they look to protect their four point lead at the top of the league.
