Man United to make move for £42m Arsenal superstar & Alexis Sanchez, Mourinho ‘highly confident’ of move
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is nearing an exit from the north London-based club.
Ozil has failed to pen a new deal with the club while his current contract expires in under nine months.
According to the Independent, Man United are preparing a move for the World Cup winner. The Red Devils will be able to pick Ozil up for free next summer unless the Gunners can sort out a new deal or sell him in January.
Per the source, United boss Jose Mourinho is ‘highly confident’ that he can convince Ozil to make the move up north.

Ozil worked alongside Mourinho during his spell at Real Madrid. The pair won the La Liga and League Cup together during their time in Spain.
The Independent goes onto state that United are also keeping tabs on Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international’s contract expires at the end of the season.
However, the Independent claims that Man City are ahead in the race to sign the star forward.
