Man United transfer news: Euro giants want Red Devils ace to join in January as part of championship push
Galatasaray have become the latest club to enter the race for Manchester United defender Daley Blind according to reports in Turkey.
Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik claim that the Lions want Blind to join in January over the winter transfer window.
Per the source, the Lions have prioritised signing a new full-back.
Head coach Igor Tudor is reported to be unhappy with Latovlevici and Linnes.
Blind has under 12 months remaining on his contract and has yet to sign a new deal.
Galatasaray would be able to sign the Dutch international on a free transfer if they are happy with waiting until the end of the season.
The Lions would have to pay a premium to sign Blind in January.
Blind has found himself on the fringes of Jose Mourinho’s squad this season.
The 27-year-old has played just 540 minutes of first-team football for the Red Devils this season.
Galatasaray are currently first in the Super Lig, five points clear of second placed Besiktas.
The Lions are solely focusing on the league this season after being eliminated from the Europa League in the playoff round.
