Man United transfer news: Luke Shaw rejects offer but club chiefs could force him out

Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has rejected an offer from Fenerbahce in favour of staying at Old Trafford according to reports in Turkey.

Fotomac report that Shaw informed the Yellow Canaries that he plans to stay at the Manchester based outfit.

Per the source, Fenerbahce will make a fresh enquiry for Shaw in January.

Despite wanting to remain at United, Shaw’s time at the club could be approaching an end.

The Daily Star report that United must sell players in order to make new signings.

Shaw and Fellaini have been identified as two players the club plan to sell in January.

The experienced 22-year-old full-back has only made two EFL Cup appearances for the Red Devils this season.

In fact Shaw has started four Premier League games in 12 months and has fallen out of favour with the head coach.

Shaw has under 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to be offered a new deal.

Fenerbahce will be able to enter direct talks with Shaw in January. Shaw made the move to Man United for £30 million from Southampton back in 2014.
