Man Utd boss Louis van Gaal wants to see Muslera deal in place

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants the Red Devil’s to open talks with Galatasaray’s Fernando Muslera as soon as possible according to the Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik.

The daily paper states that Van Gaal wants the goalkeeper situation sorted in January when David de Gea is expected to sign a deal with Real Madrid.

Fanatik also state that Galatasaray are holding out for €25 million for the Uruguay international.

Muslera played a key role in Galatasaray winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.

The 29-year-old played a key role in Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Cup win over Bursaspor. Muslera has won three league titles at the Lions and also the Copa America with Uruguay.

The Uruguay international has conceded five goals in four games this season for Galatasaray.
